26 Weeks

I just got back from my doctor's appointment and everything is still going wonderfully! On my next appointment I will be taking the gestational diabetes test. You have to drink this orange sugary drink and then have your blood drawn an hour later. Hopefully I don't have it! I don't have any of the symptoms, so let's hope! I started taking a prenatal yoga class. It has been a lot of fun! I'm learning breathing techniques and it's been great for increasing balance and flexibility. After class we all stay and chit chat for a half hour or so. It's been nice talking with a group of pregnant ladies who are going through all of the same things. They have had lots of great advice to share and some very entertaining stories.

"What happened?!?"

The funniest thing happened at school this morning! I have a student in my class who can just barely speak English. Most of the time when he speaks I do not understand what he is trying to say.
Well today he came up to me and says, "What happened?!?".
I look at him and say, "What do you mean?".
He then points at my stomach and pokes it. Then he gestures really wide with both hands.
HAHA! I guess he didn't understand at the beginning of the year when I told the whole class that I was pregnant and would be having a baby in January. He was still very confused when I tried to explain to him that there was a baby inside of me.
Teaching is SUCH an *interesting* job!

New Blog Site

Hello everyone! I've decided to start a blog to share stories and pictures with everyone. Dave and I are extremely excited about our new baby boy due to arrive January 19th. I started another baby site, but I'm not sure that I like the setup. Check out both sites and let me know which one you like better! http://www.totsites.com/tot/huff1 I guess I'll start this blog off by sharing some belly pics. Enjoy!
